Updating - Legacy Methods
Note: This article describes outdated (and unsupported) methods for updating the Matillion ETL client. For more recent versions of Matillion ETL, please refer to the Updating: Methods and Best Practices documentation.
Matillion ETL will notify the user when updates are required. For support purposes we would always recommend that users run the latest version of Matillion ETL.
Versions 1.39 or earlier
Due to an repository being taken offline out of our control, an additional step is required for users running Matillion ETL 1.39 or earlier on any AWS-hosted instance. This is only relevant for in-place updates.
- Log into your Matillion ETL instance using SSH (AWS Instructions here)
- Run the following command:
sudo yum-config-manager --disable MongoDB
- You can now perform an inplace upgrade in the normal manner.
Versions 1.28.7 or earlier
The Administration Application for Matillion is available by adding /admin to the host name of your Matillion instance and logging in with an admin user.
